Healthy Cities, Resilient Futures: Weaving Climate Action, Equity, and Wellbeing from the Pacific to the World

The theme for ICUH 2025 sets the stage for a transformative dialogue on the future of urban health.

The 21st edition of our conference will focus on amplifying perspectives from across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, while further fostering a global exchange of ideas. Together, we will explore how to build healthier, more resilient cities that prioritize equity, sustainability, and well-being for all.

Why Submit to ICUH 2025?

As the premier global conference on urban health, hosted by the International Society for Urban Health (ISUH), we invite thought leaders, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and innovators to share insights and solutions that address the pressing challenges of urbanization, climate change, and health inequities.

By submitting your research, project, or initiative, you’ll be at the forefront of urban health innovation, engaging with an interdisciplinary community of experts and change makers.

Accepted presenters will have the opportunity to:

  • Share their work on a prestigious international platform.

  • Forge collaborations with global leaders in urban health, policy, and sustainability.

  • Contribute to actionable strategies that will shape healthier urban futures.

We welcome submissions within five key thematic areas designed to reflect the interdisciplinary nature of urban health and its integration with climate resilience, equity, and community well-being.

Submissions from Indigenous and Pacific Island communities, as well as those highlighting culturally informed and regionally specific approaches, are strongly encouraged.

Please read our full Call for Papers (CFP) for more submissions details and to discover more about this year’s themes and topics.

Deadline to submit is May 17.
